The European Commission and Europe Nostra today announced the 2024 winners of the European Heritage Awards/ Europa Nostra Awards. This year, one of Europe’s most prestigious heritage awards was awarded to the Teryan Cultural Center from Armenia for the «Creative Haven- Empowering Refugees from Nagorno Karabakh» project in the «Education, Training and Skills» category. To support Artsakh people who moved to Armenia after the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, a wide range of educational activities was created to help them to adapt to new life conditions, support each other, and solve their problems.
